Raising $ for cancer

  • Team Firetec raised over $6,000 for cancer research
  • Our team consisted of 18 people - age 9 and up
  • As of 2pm on Saturday, the event had raised more than $1.926MM
  • 4700 participants (12% (524 people) more participants than last year)

It is always a pleasure to see our customers in person and this year we had an extra treat for you. Russell Newberry, of the Discovery Channels "Deadliest Catch", joined us on Saturday. For those of you who were lucky enough to meet him you'll have to agree he couldn't have been nicer. We learned about crab fishing, "reality tv" production, got the inside scoop on life on the Time Bandit (and the Wizard!) and found out how much time he actually spent in that sauna. We're excited to tune in for the season finale and are already looking forward to next year. Thanks to Larry Jamerson of Jamerson Motorsports and Tom Garey of Hamilton District #5 in NJ for introducing us to Russell - we all had a great time!
